Manly Wolves in the finals hunt
A big congratulations to the Manly Wolves with 3 of its 4 sides progressing through to this year's finals race with First and Reserve grades playing UTS in the Second Semi final, while the Under 18s play off in the First Semi final against the Southern Sharks.

Wolves consolidate second spot
Going back a couple of weeks, the Wolves first grade escaped with a 28 point win against Macquarie Uni, managing to put the Warriors at bay despite continued pressure in the final two quarters. In the end, a 5 goal to 2 second quarter set up the victory for the Wolves.

Wolves pounce on spirited Jets
The Manly Wolves travelled the breadth of outer Sydney on the weekend with the Firsts and Reserves heading north-west to Benson's Lane to tackle the Jets, while the Under 18s went south-west to play Moorebank Sports on their home turf.

Another landslide 15-goal second half for the Wolves' Firsts against Penrith ensured a crushing 24-goal win and a useful percentage booster. Coach Cannatelli was again pleased with the Wolves' willingness to press the advantage and generate momentum to take into next week's clash at Trumper Park.

After finishing 2007 with a Premiership in First Grade, Grand Finalist in Reserves and U18's the Wolves are looking to maintain the momentum and win another premierships in First Grade and take the next step with the Reserves, U18's and Second Division.
